Director’s Commentary from Koreatown

This is for a book that isn’t out yet, so it’s basically breadcrumbs for time travelers. Hello, you, from the future.

Mea culpa, I write out of order, so good luck to you. My best guess, this happens in what is currently Chapter 13, but I don’t know where it will land in the final book. It’s the scene where

More spoilers below the cut:

Most of my internal commentary at this point has been, “they’re so fucking stupid. I love them so much.”

Until I wrote Harin telling Jisoo, “I wanted my first time to mean something, I didn’t know it, but I do,” I honestly hadn’t even considered that Harin might have feelings for Jisoo. I mean, it’s Harin and Siyeon, ride or die, right? And I mean… yes. Absolutely. But like Harin tells Jisoo… what does that have to do with anything?

I don’t think Harin is in love with Jisoo (yet, and also I am happy to be proved wrong) but there is a little something there. If nothing else, I think Harin has a massive crush on Jisoo.

Also, anyway, my big dumb (affectionate) thirsty virgin himbo Harin agenda continues.

Today is also the day that I got bit by the bug of wanting to write the five of them with a baby at some point maybe in the future (tentative title: “Oops, All Dads!” ?) I don’t know if their baby would be a girl or a boy, but if it’s a girl, she will be the most spoiled little princess ever. Let’s be real, Jisoo is not a girl and is already the most spoiled princess ever, lowkey.

I just can’t help thinking of Siyeon teaching little Baby to use a knife when they are inappropriately young! It would be so cute!

Also Chaeyong falling asleep skin-to-skin with the baby on his chest, I die.

(EDIT for all you lovely time travelers: You can read the chapter this post was about in Koreatown Ep. 3.)
